Dr. Donald Ransom, DO
Dr. Ransom has been performing surgeries at Medicine Lodge Memorial Hospital for over 25 years. During that time, he has performed many lifesaving surgeries, allowing patients to regain a quality of life that would not have been possible otherwise.
Dr. Ransom was born in Wichita Falls, TX and raised in Ann Arbor, MI. He attended Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree cum laude. He continued his education at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in East Lansing, MI, where he graduated as a DO. He then completed his residency at Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital in Pontiac, MI before making his home in Medicine Lodge, KS.
Dr. Ransom is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, Kansas Association of Osteopathic Medicine and Kansas Medical Society. He and his wife, Barbara, have a son, Kristopher, of St. Paul, MN and a daughter, Lauren, of Wichita, KS.
